Privacy
Last updated 5 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect through dbhq.uk, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the rights you have. We keep things deliberately minimal: no tracking cookies, no advertising, no selling of data.
Who we are
The data controller is DBHQ Consulting Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 06839674), trading as DBHQ. Registered office: Office 7, 35-37 Ludgate Hill, London, England, EC4M 7JN. For anything in this policy, email [email protected].
What we collect
We only collect what you give us or what is needed to serve the site:
- When you contact us by email or by booking a call: your name, email address, company (if you share it), and whatever you choose to tell us about your enquiry.
- Booking a call is handled by Cal.com, which processes the details you enter to schedule the meeting.
- Aggregate analytics via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless. It gives us visitor numbers only and does not use cookies or fingerprinting to follow you across sites, and does not collect personal data.
- Technical logs: our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP address to deliver and secure the site.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
Under UK GDPR we rely on the following:
- Replying to your enquiry and discussing working together - our legitimate interests, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- Keeping proper business and accounting records - our legal obligations and legitimate interests.
- Running, improving and securing the website - our legitimate interests in a fast, safe site.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies, and shows no cookie banner because none is needed. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and performant. If you open the Cal.com scheduler, Cal.com may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Who processes your data
We use a small number of trusted providers, and we do not sell your data or share it for advertising:
- Cloudflare - hosting, content delivery, security and cookieless analytics.
- Cal.com - call scheduling.
- Microsoft 365 - email, when you write to us.
International transfers
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by standard contractual clauses / an international data transfer agreement, so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails and booking details for as long as we need them to respond and, where relevant, for our legitimate business and legal records. After that we delete them. Aggregate analytics contain no personal data.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable form; and you can withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
